Black day for India!

30th September 2020 was a black day for India in my eyes. For two ghoulish reasons-

one, a nineteen year old girl working with her mother in field [most probably in broad daylight] was abducted by four MFBs and was violated and tortured with the ghoulishness that only human beings can inflict on others, we will wait and see if these four so called high-caste MFBs will get their dues as quickly as those four bus helpers and their friends got in notorious Delhi case. Because these MFBs too tortured that child with the same ghoulishness with which the Delhi girl was, the step that everybody's favorite U.P. police did was beyond words!

They burned the girl's body without allowing her family to be there. Now they are claiming that the girl was not violated to begin with, only murdered brutally.

Next they will prove that the girl did not existed in the first place! This is the best example of lawlessness!

Let us hope that this should be the beginning of the end and the people of UP will unite to save their own home from this darkness and the rest of the country will help.

Not only that, let us hope that some other decent state will give shelter to that family that is being constantly threatened by the police and the high and mighties of the state [they even have been caught in video and that video has become viral], along-with protesting against the bestiality they will do something for that family who are being threatened by mighties that the press will be gone but they will have to live in the same state! I really hope that they will do something while that family is still alive! That will be much better!

=============

Second is after all the bloodbath and destruction caused by post-babri mosque demolition the same UP government has given clean chit to those who have been caught in the act by TV camera. Now we are being told that the kingpins of the demolition had no role at all in the demolition, most probably the mosque just had enough of its mortal existence and decided to crumble down!

Babari mosque was a heritage building, so destroying heritage buildings and getting away with that is alright now in this country, well, the Muslim bretherns may feel a bit less angry if they come to know that the same Ram Janmbhoomi trust demolished a heritage Ram Temple too that was kept under the carpet by great Indian media, this one was a temple that has held puja of Ram for more than a thousand year. A little balm maybe! It is all about the throne of India, religion has nothing to do with it!

One truly wonders if our current government is being paid by someone to absolutely destroy the law and order of this country and prove to the entire world that this country is being run by thugs and ruffians and those who obey the masters will get away with every thing! Including rape, rioting, murder and embezzling lot of public money!

The way the image of India is going downwards, especially that of Hindus is tragic. Centuries of slavery did not damaged the reputation of India and Hindus the way it has been damaged in last decade! Please open your eyes Indians esp. Hindus!

<strong>When they came for the darkies, I didn’t say anything

for I was not a darkie.

When they came for the low castes, I didn’t say anything

for I was not a low caste

When they came for the maimed, I didn’t say anything

for I was not maimed

When they came for the women, I didn’t say anything

for I was not a woman

When they came for the minors, I didn’t say anything

for I was not a minor

When they came for the weak, I didn’t say anything

for I was not weak

When they came for me, no one said anything

for there was no one left to speak!

Welcome to the Poush 1426 review of Agnishatdal! Here are a few of the outstanding features for this issue… First there’s… … Let us Begin… Our Virtual Trip to India This painting shows a young woman leaning, her back to a tree, while a small fishing boat travels past on the river in the background. Bharatendu Harishchandra So, here is one whose linguistic influence was deep and far-reaching. I must look for any published works of his that remain in print, and I suspect that these are more than a few sources I can look on. Rupjibi and Kalambiji Saptarchi criticizes the intellectual failures of modern Indian movies made for money, not the writer’s craft. Masai 1 of 4 Brieuc begins this series on the Masai people...

Scott Hastie, new face in Agnishatdal!

Scott Hastie is a full-time Scottish born writer, based in the UK - he lives and works in tranquil surroundings in the English countryside, some twenty miles north of London. Primarily a poet, Scott also has had one novel - 'Reunion' published, as well as several lavishly illustrated local history books. Ten of his books remain in print today - principally his two early signature volumes of poetry: 'Selected Poetry' & 'New Poetry', first published in the 1990's - together with showcases for newer equally distinctive work, such as the beautiful and soulful 'Meditations' first published in the Autumn of 2013. Scott's current poetry is very much a positive and sparkling affirmation of human potential, with a growing emphasis on spiritual awareness. Given the impact of this more recent output and its fast growing cross-cultural popularity around the world, a much more definitive and comprehensive hardback collection of al...

Will Bengal shine again by saptarchi : This question haunts all Bengalis that love their culture! Things have improved a bit under TMC but with saffron brigade’s eyes glued on Bengal the hearts are fluttering! If they ever come to power that will be the darkest day for Bengal. Fogline by Brieuc Martin Onraet 7: Another piece of hilarious conversation between those who have created human beings and their boss. I wonder how human beings would have looked if they had feathers! Faithmark by Raghunandan Kuppuswamy: Quite an interesting story, well, instant reward for listening to a holy man. Hope he won’t become greedy and ruin the bless...
