Patreon May 2021 critique by Labanya

Patreon May 2021 critique by Labanya Hello there! Hope things are well there, here things are nice, can’t say very bad, even though they look very grim. I have just finished reading the May bunch of Patreon books created/written by Sharmishtha Basu, sharing my honest opinion about them, hoping they will bring a few much needed patrons her way! 1. Agnilipi [writing/letter of fire]: It contains 10 gorgeous photographs taken by Sharmishtha Basu. They are pleasing and pretty to my eyes. My favorite is the final shot of flamingo spreading its wings. 2. Agnipat [portrait of fire]: It contains 10 paintings of butterflies, dragonflies and one painting of firefly. Quite well painted, I love butterflies, who does not? So, loved the book for sure! 3. Agnimalya [garland of fire]: This book contains a set of mixed fantasy stories. My favorite was “the delay” absolute loved the twist in this sci-fi fantasy. “Vampire in love” was fun too. 4. Coming Kingdom: th

Agnishatdal Jyeshtha 1428 May 2021 critique by SB Agnishatdal Jyeshtha 1428 May 2021 https://gumroad.com/l/pwIUt https://shoptly.com/i/bshq By your good old editor! Few simple words about the works of my much cherished authors! So the critiques will be honest, short and sweet. Summer noon by Labanya- Marvelous, nostalgic poem, so many old memories came back while reading it. Can I begin again by Scott Hastie: Scott’s poetries truly are full of light and fragrance, they fill up your heart with pure delight. blackhole by saptarchi : Well, absolutely true, saffron brigade won’t stop till this country and its reputation is absolutely destroyed. Fogline by Brieuc Martin Onraet 13: A new story, right now it is just warming up, as always very smooth and fun. Vela Vela by Vasu Srinivasan translated by Raghunandan Kuppuswamy: How do these people do it! Riding on a bicycle for hours, going round and round! Its tragic that they earn so little. Magn

Bankimchandra Chatterjee birthday

Even though he was quite fanatic but his talent was too much, he was quite aptly called the emperor of bengali literature- sahitya samrat, I have never read such language anywhere else!   Deepest respects to the emperor on his birthday!

Agnishatdal Jyeshtha 1428 May 2021 critique by Labanya

Agnishatdal Jyeshtha 1428 May 2021 critique by Labanya Agnishatdal Jyeshtha 1428 May 2021 https://gumroad.com/l/pwIUt https://shoptly.com/i/bshq Hi friends, let us begin! Jyeshtha issue begins with a shot from Golconda fort, the tribute this month has been paid to Razia Sultana, it was tragic that she was born in an age ruled by men! I have always admired this lady. Can I begin again by Scott Hastie: What a beauty! blackhole by saptarchi : Saptarchi struck the nail right on head when S said that saffron brigade is a blackhole devouring the country. Fogline by Brieuc Martin Onraet 13: A new story has just begun. Vela Vela by Vasu Srinivasan translated by Raghunandan Kuppuswamy: Very well written and translated piece, these people certainly earn every penny they earn and more. I wonder how they manage it! Magna by Troy David Loy: Agni Bose is one of the villains of the story. There is no other way of describing the character. Interesting th

Agnijaat Jyeshtha 1428 May 2021 critique by Labanya

Agnijaat Jyeshtha 1428 May 2021 critique by Labanya https://gumroad.com/l/ihKEm https://shoptly.com/i/bsh2 Agnijaat Jyeshtha begins with a fun Jamai Shashthi cartoon. Well, let us hope that things will get better after vaccination. Let us simply pray that things will get better and people won’t starve. Indie Author Speaks : Reading and writing- A good author must be a good reader. A good speaker should be good listener. FTQFS : There is a beautiful world outside kitchen. Techbabble : Microsoft products are really becoming more and more user unfriendly and irritating. India Now: Indian Hypocrisy 2 – Another harsh and true piece. Really grim side of Indian society has been shown in these two pieces. SOS : Million dollar truth- worst people are those who hide their fury, venom behind sweetness and charm. Intriguing Tales : Never ever judge a book by its cover! History of India : Interesting piece about entry of Aryans in India. My P
