Hi friends, let us begin!
Chaitra issue begins with another beautiful photograph from Golconda fort, the tribute this month has been paid to Queen Durgawati, she was quite a brave lady and great administrator.
Surrender by Scott Hastie: Beautiful.
Of drum-rolls and Indians by saptarchi: Very true words. When women [and men] blame that all evil against women are done by men they simply don’t admit the massive damages done by women!
Fogline by Brieuc Martin Onraet 11: Another fascinating piece. Really love his way of writing! His characters are so much fun!
The faith mark by Raghunandan Kuppuswamy: good one! Well, he certainly got a nice reward for being religious.
The coming of Magna by Troy David Loy: Will love to know a bit more about Mirus, he sounds like an interesting character..
Drowning in a tear… by Dom Collucci: Beautifully said.
Bitter Pill dose 40 by Bitter Pill: Press 3: Press these days is not news, it is lie and conning.
The warrior of light by Brendan: very beautiful and wise.
The year that never was by Pat Ritters 2: Interesting and well-written piece, I did not knew people eat kangaroos!
Treats:
Wish you all a happy holi, lovely greeting Sharmishtha!
5 lovely shots- loved the sun photos most.
This month Linkedin Requests are worth checking out if you are a writer or artist.
The year that never was by Pat Ritter: It certainly is a good story, or so it seems from the first two reads!
Pikatron by Troy David Loy sounds like a great reading material with fractals as added beauty!
Agnishatdal book 14, Saptarchi, I like Saptarchi’s writings.
Star of the Month Ustad Amanat Ali khan- Never heard his name before, will check out his songs ASAP in YouTube.
Star of West Geoffrey Rush: He is a really good actor. Have watched him in pirates of the Caribbean, the movies would not have been the same without him.
Star of east Guru Dutt- He was amazing!
Youtubia-Kahil Sultanpuri- Will check him out.
Minutes Together: Thor and Utgard was an interesting read. I have not read many Norse mythology stories. Actually have started hearing the names of their deities after watching Avengers.
Loved the Bengali poem and the hindi poem both. Thank you for adding my work Bachhar ase in your ezine Agni.
Parashar- It is a sad story. Vishamitra was a really wicked sage. Far worse than Durbasa, notorious for his rage.
TnW- Word editor ways- word editor stinks!
Scaredy Stick- covid-19 has shown both sides of society, the worst and the best.
The sketches all through the ezine were pretty, very colourful and lovely.
That is it I guess! See you again next month, and thank you Agni/Sharmishtha for translating my works!
Yours sincerely,
Labanya
