Agnijaat Chaitra begins with Holi greeting, beautiful greeting. I really hope people will practice caution during this extremely popular festival that is all about getting together and have fun!

Indie Author Speaks: 2nd round of good tips about blurb writing,

FTQFS: Very true words, law should realize and admit that women that cry wolf are not always speaking truth.

Techbabble: Raw vs jpeg- will keep the tips in mind.

India Now: Corona diaries 7 – I will agree with the authoress, after all we did elect a bunch of incompetent tyrants for the second time, all they have been doing after being elected first time was shove the country into a pit from where it will most probably crawl out after decades!

SOS: Absolutely true, not everything should be fought against, some things just blow away with time.

Intriguing Tales: thought provoking, then we all know about asaram bapoo and teachers like him!

History of India: This month pre-Aryan civilization has been discussed.

My Pen: wake up India 7: Very valid points. If Indians don’t wake up now and throw BJP out of parliament forever they will most probably become slaves of China this time and that country will never allow them freedom, ask Tibetans languishing in India if it sounds untrue.

Fun and Frolic section:

Tilbaroo station by Pat Ritter: This one sounds like a great, fascinating story.

Agnijaat book 14: Very serious read indeed!

Pikatron September 2019 critique by Editor: Will have to get the newsletter from Troy or Agni.

Why oh why? : Whatever happened to Hollywood? These days I prefer watching U.K. and Australian movies.

Indian Raga Now:

Pradeep- Amazing lyrics and great singer! His songs move the very soul~

SPOTLIGHT ON- ABBA- One of my favorites if not favorite group!

Window to West – Abbott and Costello meet mummy: Hilarious!

Falgun Shots: Four lovely shots!

Youtube channel: Already checked them all out.

Storytime: poetry from Patreon: Absolutely gorgeous painting of dancing santhals and a poetry that goes with it.

Charkapuja: It is quite popular in rural Bengal, you will see people decked up as Lord Shiva or Mother Goddess Kali out in the street

Theme: Chimera- Seven cute paintings.

The cartoon Mr Stick: true words, incompetency is first name of our current rulers.

In the end quite enjoyed the Ezine, and its colourful sketches/paintings especially they are refreshing and pretty!

That is it I guess! See you again next month, and thank you Agni/Sharmishtha for translating my works!

Yours sincerely,

Labanya

Welcome to the Poush 1426 review of Agnishatdal! Here are a few of the outstanding features for this issue… First there’s… … Let us Begin… Our Virtual Trip to India This painting shows a young woman leaning, her back to a tree, while a small fishing boat travels past on the river in the background. Bharatendu Harishchandra So, here is one whose linguistic influence was deep and far-reaching. I must look for any published works of his that remain in print, and I suspect that these are more than a few sources I can look on. Rupjibi and Kalambiji Saptarchi criticizes the intellectual failures of modern Indian movies made for money, not the writer’s craft. Masai 1 of 4 Brieuc begins this series on the Masai people

A piece from The Soul Devourers Now available in shoptly as Agnimalya Book 9 https://shoptly.com/sharmishthabasu "The names that our parents gave us were Agni (Fire) and Vari (water), yours was Agni, mine Vari, based on our natures, of course; I don’t think you would mind if I call you Agni." Her sister asked. She shrugged. "Who are these people?" she asked. "These people were once human beings. Their greed was too strong, so strong it tempted them into selling their soul to the devil. There is a temple in Gajmahal, where they worship the devil, and have been for centuries. These soul devourers –– yes, that’s what they are called because that’s what they become capable of devouring souls–– souls of their victims are their life-force. That keeps them alive, as some of them are centuries old. Their head priest was one of the first priests of the temple, and has done it for centuries now." "These p
