To all those clouds of words, dreams and “reality- in its myriad shapes and hues” that danced for me and are still dancing! To this life that taught me dreams are the sails of the boats in ocean of life, reality. They may get tattered in storms but in favourable weather they work wonders and when they work they make the journey truly worth-while! When they don’t work or can’t work they still make the boat look pretty, don’t they? Fill us with hope for tomorrow’s favourable weather when they will make our boat fly!

Few words for readers

I was born in Tundla a tiny town adjacent to famous Agra, that nurtures beautiful Tajmahal in its heart. Then, in the course of next 16 years I touched most of the states of Northern Indian plains, U.P., Bihar, Haryana, Delhi (by touched I meant lived in), finally the daughter returned to her ancestral soil, Burdwan of West Bengal, India, completed her graduation there joined the first job, then shifted to Kolkata in 2005, stayed there till 2015, lived in Hyderabad for a very brief period Feb 2015 to November and then returned to  Kolkata.

I love to write and illustrate them myself. By love I mean love, no half-hearted relationship, a full-fledged, passionate love, I can’t pass two days in a stretch without writing/painting (cyber), just feel empty like lovers do when their lovers are away on a tour! Being unmarried and unemployed I have all the time in world to spend on things I love, and I do! Believe me! Whatever time was left from my already crazy schedule I have invested in my Esines Agnishatdal and Agnijaat, since 2016 July and they are keeping me on my toes!

Can’t say I wanted it but life has shown me almost all of her colours, from the ugliest to prettiest, from darkest to divine, my works are as close to reality as you will find and then as insanely dreamy as they can be! You will see mystical and real in my works. Hope you will enjoy them!
Don’t forget to tell me!

p.s.: Createspace and kindle have merged, so I will delete the erstwhile createspace books or the paperbacks in 2019, maintain only the ebooks.

Ashar issue begins with another shot from Golconda fort, the tribute this month has been paid to Sardar Ballabhbhai Patel and I discovered a lot of brand new things about him from this article. Iridescent vignette by Scott Hastie: What a beauty! Ye reap… by saptarchi : Saptarchi is right again. We never learn from past! Fogline by Brieuc Martin Onraet 15: Very interesting piece. It’s hard to explain this piece because it is continuation, it is fun to read, that much is for sure! The dawn of data abstraction by Vasu Srinivasan translated by Raghunandan Kuppuswamy: Very well written and translated piece, I wonder what will happen in the story next month. It finished at a very interesting spot. Magna- End of
